POWER UPGRADES (INFRASTRUCTURE)

Private Estate, Cotswolds

Edmont carried out a complex and large scale upgrade to the M&E services at one of the Cotswold’s most prestigious estates. More power was required in order to facilitate the commercial activities of the estate, so following in-depth design meetings, an 800KvA was decided upon. As this exceeded the local distributors available capacity, a new HV substation was commissioned. The dedicated supply was brought into a newly built energy centre, and from there was distributed around the estate. The works involved subterranean cabling and heavy-duty switch gear to handle the current required.

Edmont Ltd Head Office, Swindon

Our own company incorporates a large bespoke joinery manufacturing division. As a result of company growth, a new, 11000sqft purpose-built joinery workshop was required, including expansion of the existing Mill area. Much of the machinery was upgraded, and the overall expansion necessitated an increase in energy supply to the site. Edmont M&E carried out the full mechanical and electrical installation for the project, to include design, development, new lighting and more. The project was challenging as it required minimal interruption to ongoing joinery manufacturing.
